CONTINUING EDUCATION

According to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE), all real estate brokers and salespersons must complete at least 45 clock hours of continuing education to renew their California Real Estate License.

25-28 Hours of Consumer Protection (Real Estate Update & The Next Level of Real Estate Version I or II)
15 Hours (3 Hours Each: Agency, Ethics, Fair Housing with interactive component, Trust Fund Handling, and Risk Management)
3 Hours of Management and Supervision (except first time salesperson renewals)
2 Hours of Implicit Bias

45 Hour Home Study Continuing Education Course — DRE #4183

Self-paced studying that is NOT timed online!

Students are eligible to complete in a minimum time period of six days, which includes two days of studying at your own pace without being timed online, complete online quizzes, and three days of online testing!^ Best of all, students have a year from enrollment to complete.

Our 45 Hour Home Study Continuing Education Course consists of our 15 Hour Home Study Continuing Education Course (3 Hours Each: Agency, Ethics, Trust Fund Handling, Fair Housing, and Risk Management), the 3 Hour course of Management and Supervision (if applicable), 2 Hour course of Implicit Bias, and our 25-28 Hour Consumer Protection Courses of Real Estate Update & The Next Level of Real Estate Version I or II. For all Accredited courses, read the text (in PDF format) and take your quizzes and final examinations over the internet.

Continuing Education General Information

Read the General Information Page, select the type of reading material desired, fill in the required fields, press "add to cart," and proceed through the checkout process. Both options include online examinations and certificate of completion.

^Quizzes and final examinations are timed and taken online. After designated waiting period and completion of all quizzes, one exam per 24 hours may be taken, any other exams taken more than once a day will be void.
